Helpful information

The Canon PGI-570 black pairs with the CLI-571 colour range — Black (0385C001AA, 398 pages), Cyan (0386C001AA), Magenta (0387C001AA), Yellow (0388C001AA, 173 pages each) and Grey (0389C001AA, 125 pages) — for the Canon Pixma MG5750, MG5751, MG5752, MG5753, MG6850, MG6851, MG7750, MG7751, TS5050, TS5150 and TS9150 ranges.

Why two black cartridges? These printers use two different blacks: the PGI-570 is a pigment black for crisp text, and the CLI-571 black is a dye-based ink used for photos and graphics. Both need to be fitted. The XL versions fit the same printers and last much longer: about 500 pages for the PGI-570XL (vs 300) and 400 pages for each CLI-571XL colour (vs 173).

Standard PGI-570 black (0372C001AA) delivers 300 pages; the PGI-570XL (0318C001AA) delivers 500 pages, with a twin pack available (0318C007). CLI-571 colours are also available as CLI-571XL — XL black (0331C001) delivers 895 pages and XL colours (0332C001–0335C001) deliver 400 pages each. Mixed multipacks and photo paper combo packs span both tiers.
