Helpful information

The HP 62 black (MPN C2P04AE, 200 pages) and colour (MPN C2P06AE, 165 pages) are genuine HP ink cartridges compatible with a range of HP Envy and OfficeJet printers including the Envy 5540, 5640, 7640 and OfficeJet 5740. Both are also available in HP 62XL high yield — XL black (C2P05AE) delivers 600 pages and XL colour (C2P07AE) delivers 415 pages. Black twin packs are available at standard yield, along with bundle packs across both tiers.

HP 62 or HP 62XL? The XL black cartridge prints about three times as many pages as the standard one (600 vs 200), and the XL colour about two and a half times as many (415 vs 165). If you print regularly, XL means fewer cartridge changes and usually a lower cost per page. If you only print now and then, the standard cartridges cost less up front.
