Helpful information

The HP 957XL is a genuine HP extra high yield black ink cartridge (MPN L0R40AE, about 3,000 pages) compatible with the HP OfficeJet Pro 7720, 7730, 7740, 8210, 8715, 8720, 8725, 8730 and 8740. This black-only XL cartridge is designed for high-volume office printing where minimising cost per page and cartridge changes are priorities.

957XL or 953? The 957XL is an extra-high-yield black for the same OfficeJet Pro printers that take HP 953 cartridges, and prints about 3,000 pages. There is no 957 colour: use HP 953 or 953XL colour cartridges alongside it.
